The world nowadays is gradually becoming fast paced by the minute. All people are very busy and are on the move without even taking into consideration to stop for a moment. Being that fast-paced, they can ignore little things and either lose or neglect time for their own end. A good example of this is preparing food for themselves, particularly when living alone. Time and again, people will resort to fastfood and no-cook meals that doesn't really supply full enjoyment of eating. Along with the high tech innovations, however, there are many alternatives in enjoying good quality food that is fit for a good meal in a fine dining restaurant right in the comforts of your home..
People have been hiring their personal or private chefs - and it has been an excellent alternative in going to fancy restaurants, fast food, or instant meals. Some may cost some bucks, but being able to enjoy well-prepared food right in your own home without breaking any sweat is simply priceless. But, why are many people turning to these services today?
Personal chefs are only for those who are wealthy, but not now. Today, there is a wide selection of personal chef services and many choices to pick from. It has become less expensive even for the non-rich people and can be availed by everyone. A personal chef will take his or her time to know very well what your preferences are, like the ingredients you don't want to include certain dishes or the dishes that you might want to regularly eat. They can save a lot of time as they can do the shopping for you and knows the best and freshest ingredients for you to enjoy. They always come prepared and have everything they need to ready your meals in the comfort of your own home, and cleans up everything if they're done. When you get home, just reheat the dishes in storage and bon appetit!
A private chef is almost exactly the same with a personal chef, but in relation to to work exclusively for a particular group or person is what sets it apart. Private chefs are typically hired by families who're very busy and have a hectic schedule. They are either hired by people from distinct families or specific groupds. They are tagged along occasionally in family travels and are present when their clients are eating. They enjoy exactly the same things with personal chefs - professional equipment but a feel-at-home atmosphere, without the pain of cleaning up a big deal of materials after a long day.
Whether you're a chef searching for a career, or a customer seeking the right service, there's specific things to be considered. With a private chef, clients who hire them don't mind paying for a higher fee for quality dining. There are some private chefs preferring to get their ingredients from other places that can mean more fees. They'll also get more pay as people will typically get their services like specific families and celebrities which will lead to better paychecks. However, be prepared to see intimate things as well. A few of the clients may be in their bath robes since they eat and tend to hear private conversations, but little by little can be part of the family. When a client will particularly ask for a brand of the ingredients they need and the private chef cannot find it, they will have some problems. When your client travels, it is likely that the private chef will be there too. Free travel!
A personal chef has the liberty of having more clients, provided that they can handle their time properly. They are on a "clean as you go" basis, but doesn't have to clean as much as someone in a restaurant. However, even though a personal chef can handle several clients, there are days that it gets mixed up and it gets stressful. Mixing up schedules or inevitable events may bring disaster so it also gets hard as well. It's also been known that pay is a little less with being a personal chef when compared with being a private chef.
Personal Chef or a Private Chef? It is your own personal choice. If it is about good food for you to enjoy, one thing is for certain- both the personal chef and private chef can definitely rise to the occasion. All depends to someone's preferences though.
